Flashback to the ’90s: Recital Memories from a Musical Era

Registration for the Year-End Flashback to the 90s Recital is NOW OPEN! Our year-end recitals will be taking place on Saturday, June 15 at Hope Lutheran Church. The theme for this recital is flashback to the 90s and we look forward to enjoying the day with playing music from the past and getting into the 90s spirit.

There will be three recital times to choose from; Recital One (10:15am to 11:30am) Recital Two (12:30pm to 1:30pm) or Recital Three (2:30pm to 3:45pm). There is a limited number of spots for each recital so please make sure to register early if you want a specific recital. After each recital will be a time for cake and refreshments as we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Imagine Music Inc.

Registration deadline is Friday, May 31. All students who wish to perform must register for the recital using the link below.

For students who are unable to attend the recital or who would like to perform but are intimated with playing in front of an audience you can submit a video recording of your piece.

We would love to see all our students participate in our year-end recital so please talk to your teacher or email Stefani at stefani@imaginemusicinc.com if you have any questions. Hope to see you there!

Connecting Through Music: Our Annual Adult Student Event

Thank-you to all our adult students who came to the annual Adult Get-Together on April 20. It was a great afternoon of conversation and the opportunity to hear each other perform. We look forward to this event each year and this year was one of the biggest and best!

Exploring Styles: Highlights from Our Music Genres Showcase

Thank-you to all the students and teachers who performed in the Music Genres Showcase at Venvi Senior Living on April 13. It was a wonderful afternoon of bringing generations together to celebrate music through the ages. The residents thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and we have already began planning another showcase event for the fall.

Student Performers Shine at the Bow Cliff Bake Sale Event

Thank-you to all our students and teachers who participated in the Bow Cliff Bake Sale Volunteer Performance Event on December 2 with the Bow Cliff Seniors Association. It was a great day of playing festive tunes together as people shopped for some holiday baking.

Student Performances from Our Annual Winter Showcase

Thank-you to all our students and teachers who participated in the winter showcase at The Edgemont Retirement Residence on November 30. The staff and residents thoroughly enjoyed the music and entertainment and we are so proud of your hard work and dedication in preparing for this event.

My Favourite Things: June Recital Moments & Highlights

Congratulations to all our students who performed at our “My Favourite Things Year-End Recital” on June 17. We were so impressed with the hard work and practice that the students put into preparing for the recital and the courage of our students to get-up on the stage to perform. Thank-you for a great music year and we hope everyone has a great summer!

Music and Coffee: A Relaxed Gathering for Adult Students

On June 3, 2023 teachers and students performed at Espresso Café in Kensington. This was a great opportunity for students to practice performing in a laid-back environment with a smaller audience than our Big Recitals. Thank you to all our students and teachers who performed at this event!

Thank-you to all the teachers and students who joined us for our Annual Adult Student/Teacher Get-Together. We had a great afternoon visiting, sharing food and listening to each other perform music.
