All Spruced Up: Highlights from Our Winter Recital

On December 10, we held our All Spruced Up Winter Recitals at Hope Lutheran Church. We had over 45 students perform at these recitals and approximately 150 parents, friends and family members come out to support our young musicians. Thank-you to all the teachers for their hard work preparing for this event, for parents and family members for supporting our young musicians and our students for their excellent performances!

Music from the Past: Online Teacher Recital Highlights

On October 22 Imagine Music Teachers did an online recital for seniors to tune in virtually and enjoy some familiar songs. Below is a video recap highlighting our voice teacher, Hilda, who performed for the recital. Volunteering and giving back to the community are important values for our Imagine Music staff and students.

Adult Get Together 2022

Annual Adult Student Gathering: Music, Fun, and Connection

It was a wonderful day for connecting with our adult students, client, and teachers.

We were back at it with our Adult Get-Together.  An easy-going, casual affair with great conservations, food, and fantastic music played by our adult students and teachers!

Sharing the Joy of Music with Seniors This Winter

The Songs for Seniors Recital was a total hit and success.  We had 65 Zoomers from various parts of the world including Calgary, Edmonton, Canada, the US and  Mexico and 40 students performing on Voice, Violin and Piano. Our biggest Online Recital yet!

Our students performed music from Christmas to Bach to Beatles.  This was a collaborative recital with Innisfail Connects an organization that programs for seniors in Central Alberta.

Enhancing Skills and Confidence

Our first in-person Masterclass was truly a great success!  Students and teachers played for each other and received helpful feedback from their music peers.  This was an all-ages group with kids of all skill levels, some taking exams and some just playing for fun.  We heard students play Bach to Star Wars to Elton John while playing instruments from piano to violin to voice.  To end our class, we did a group improvisation music jam playing the blues!

Zoom Recital Fun: Highlights from “Name That Tune” Event

Last year our Mystery Movie Music recital was a huge success among our families and students. So, we decided to run another Family Orientated Game Show Recital complete with game sheets and prizes.

Students can get creative and stump their fellow musicians!
