Timeless Tunes Year-End Recital

We’re excited to announce the theme for our upcoming year-end recital: Timeless Tunes! This recital will celebrate music that has made a lasting impression.

Students are encouraged to begin thinking about what they might like to perform that fits this theme. “Timeless” can include many styles of music! It could be a classical piece that has been played for hundreds of years, a jazz standard, a traditional folk song, or even a well-loved song from a movie, musical, or TV show. It could also be a popular song from recent years that you think will still be loved and recognized for a long time.

Some examples might include pieces like “Für Elise,” “Ode to Joy,” music from Disney films, songs from musicals like “The Sound of Music,” or well-known favourites such as “Let It Go,” “A Thousand Years,” or “Hallelujah.” These are just a few ideas to get you thinking — there are many wonderful possibilities!

Our Timeless Tunes Recitals will take place on Saturday June 13. Registration will open late April. In the meantime, we encourage students to start exploring pieces and choosing something they’re excited to perform! 🎵
