It was a wonderful day for connecting with our adult students, client, and teachers.
We were back at it with our Adult Get-Together. An easy-going, casual affair with great conservations, food, and fantastic music played by our adult students and teachers!
The Songs for Seniors Recital was a total hit and success. We had 65 Zoomers from various parts of the world including Calgary, Edmonton, Canada, the US and Mexico and 40 students performing on Voice, Violin and Piano. Our biggest Online Recital yet!
Our students performed music from Christmas to Bach to Beatles. This was a collaborative recital with Innisfail Connects an organization that programs for seniors in Central Alberta.

Our first in-person Masterclass was truly a great success! Students and teachers played for each other and received helpful feedback from their music peers. This was an all-ages group with kids of all skill levels, some taking exams and some just playing for fun. We heard students play Bach to Star Wars to Elton John while playing instruments from piano to violin to voice. To end our class, we did a group improvisation music jam playing the blues!
Last year our Mystery Movie Music recital was a huge success among our families and students. So, we decided to run another Family Orientated Game Show Recital complete with game sheets and prizes.
Students can get creative and stump their fellow musicians!
A spin-off of our Junior Recital, this online Zoom recital offers beginner students, of all ages, to play live or share their pre-recorded video of their playing! Take Your Time Recital is an opportunity for beginners to gain confidence and experience when performing in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Students preparing for Royal Conservatory (RCM) and Conservatory Canada (CC) exams play for each other online through Zoom
This annual event is where adult students get to play and not perform. We understand that as adult students, playing at a children’s music recital is not ideal. Therefore, Imagine Music Inc. hosts annual adult get-togethers where adult students can may perform or just come and listen. Not only is it a great way for adults to hear others play, but they can also socialize, share music tips and practice strategies. All music levels welcome!

We have partnered with Innisfail Connects a service that provides programming for seniors.
We would also like to invite any of our Imagine Music Community to listen in. As well, please feel free to share this invite with other seniors (or anyone) that may feel isolated during this time or who want to listen to some great music.
